Chattanooga Shooting Which Killed East Cobb Marine Was Terrorism: FBI
The July attack which led to the death of LCpl Skip Wells has been officially declared a terrorist act by the FBI, according to a report.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced Wednesday that the July rampage at an armed forces training center in Chattanooga which left five servicemen dead has been linked to terrorism.
On Wednesday, FBI Director James Comey announced that the bureau had determined the gunman had been inspired by propaganda from a terrorist organization, according to WSB-TV. Comey added that the bureau had investigated the incident as a terrorist attack since the beginning.
Marine LCpl Skip Wells, who graduated from Sprayberry High School in 2012, was one of the victims of the July 16 shooting carried out by a lone gunman.

Several memorial events were held to commemorate Wells’ life, including a road march and a public memorial at his alma mater. Thousands of people lined interstates and roadways to watch as the fallen Marine was transported from Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in Atlanta to a funeral home in Kennesaw.
