  1. According to the Georgia Department of Public Health's recent School-Aged COVID-19 Data Report, COVID-19 cases are rising in the school-aged categories in Cobb County. Preschoolers, now in a "High" 14-day rate category, have exceeded other age groups in cases and transmission rate. (Cobb County Courier)
  2. Cobb Chamber is seeking nominations for the 2023-2024 class of Leadership Cobb members. Fifty-four individuals are selected each year to participate in the leadership development program in which participants focus on current issues, community resources, and the social, political, and economic needs of the community.   3. In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, all Cobb County Public Libraries will be closed and will not offer curbside hold pickup on Monday, Jan. 16. On Tuesday, Jan. 17, normal library hours and curbside pickup will resume. (Cobb County Public Library)
