Police say the man was reported by several callers on Monday.

A Marietta man is behind bars after police say he pointed a toy gun at passing motorists on Monday morning.

Dashon Kelly, 31, was arrested and charged with reckless conduct after police arrested him at Powder Springs and Macland roads just after 8 a.m. Police were dispatched to the intersection after receiving several calls from citizens about Kelly’s actions.

“The weapon he was pointing at passing motorists was determined to be a fake replica of a rifle-type gun,” police spokeswoman Alicia Chilton told Patch.
