Cobb Restaurant Scores: Alumni Cookie Dough, Bojangles, Dunkin'

COBB COUNTY, GA — Whether you're coming into town for the World Series or already call Cobb County home, there are tons of dining options to check out. Take a look at the latest restaurant inspection scores from the past week.

A total of 68 Cobb County restaurants and food-service operations were inspected since Oct. 21 — the last time Patch posted a restaurant score roundup for Cobb County — in Acworth, Atlanta, Austell, East Cobb, Kennesaw, Mableton, Marietta, Powder Springs and Smyrna.

Of the 68 restaurants, 51 received grades of A, 16 of them received grades of B and one received a C grade: House of Lu in Marietta. None received a "U" for unacceptable.

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points.

Letter grades assigned are A for totals of 100 to 90 points, B for 89 to 80, C for 79 to 70 and U for less than 70.
