Here are the top three stories in East Cobb today:

1. The Cobb County Public Library is collecting items for shelter animals this holiday season. The library's Homeless Pet Club is collecting FlexiChew Nylabones (wolf and large size), Kong toys, cat toys, cat beds, and unopened pet food. Donated items must be new items. The collection will be through Dec. 17 at all Cobb County library branches. (Cobb County Public Library)
2. The Cobb Police Department has established e-commerce safety zones. The zones are available for the community to conduct online holiday shopping in a secure environment. The zones are located at all five department precincts in well-lit areas with video surveillance. A list of locations is available at the link. (East Cobb News)
3. Cobb County Fire officials have identified two suspects in a September car fire. The incident occurred on Canton Road at a Mcdonald's location. Jazzmin Nicole Davis, 25 years old, and Khadijah Jakalay Courtney, 24 years old, are wanted for various charges which include second-degree arson and filing fraudulent reports. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (East Cobb News)
