Constitution Day at The Wood Acres School
Tuesday's observance included a flag posted by the Wheeler Air Force Jr. ROTC that flew over the U.S. Capitol.
Many thanks to Nicole Hankamer at The Wood Acres School in East Cobb for sending this along from today's event:Â
This morning, The Wood Acres School held their 5th annual Constitution Day celebration! The celebration was held outdoors on the campus quad with all students and parents in attendance. Students 2 years old through 8th grade took part in the ceremony. Â
A new flag was posted by the Wheeler Air Force Jr. ROTC unit that was flown over the United States Capitol in honor of this school year and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution was also present.
All students were decked out in their finest red, white, and blue for the occasion. Â
Let your spirit soar! Let your voice ring free! In honor of our "country 'tis of thee!"
