Credit Card Fraud Ring Operating In Cobb: FBI
Fraud ring has accumulated thousands of stolen credit cards, federal authorities say.

EAST COBB, GA -- Federal authorities are asking the public's help in identifying a group going around metro Atlanta committing credit card fraud.
The group has operations in Cobb and Gwinnett County and has amassed thousands of credit card numbers, according to Special Agent in Charge David J. LeValley of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Atlanta field office.
He said the group has fraudulently purchased thousands of dollars in gift cards, police said.

During the holidays, a gift card scheme was discovered at several metro Atlanta retailers, including multiple Target stores.

One of the fraud suspects, shown in pictures released by the FBI, is described as a black female between the ages of 25 and 35 years old.
