'Cyrano and Roxanne' on Stage at Pope

Another busy season for the Pope High School Drama Club continues next month with two performances of "Cyrano and Roxanne."

The shows will take place on Oct. 18 and 19, both at 7 p.m. 

The play is a retelling of "Cyrano de Bergerac, " and the cast features the following Pope students and their roles:

  • Andrew Antoci as Cyrano de Bergerac;
  • Emma Chunglo as Baker;
  • JoJo Fernandez as Danielle;
  • Rose Fishman as Villager, Nun;
  • Raina Gars as Chrystelle;
  • Dylan Geller as Montfleury, Ligniere, Pierre, Cadet;
  • Andrea Gomez-Aparicio as Villager, Assassin;
  • Julia Koch as Villager, Nun;
  • Devon Long as Christian de Neuvillette, Assassin;
  • Maddy McLay as Villager, Assassin, Nun;
  • Sarah Mott as Brigitte;
  • Shannon Murphy as Roxanne;
  • David Perez as Viscount de Valvert, Carbon, Assassin, Cadet;
  • Sormeh Sanaseri as Villager, Cyrano’s servant;
  • Matthew Schwartz as Le Bret, Cadet.
The backstage crew includes Hayley Cohen, stage manager; Leah Dudley, hair and make-up; Hayley Keller, sound; Sommer Smith, backstage manager and Cadet; Afi Taylor, backstage manager and Assassin; and Andrew Walters, lights.
