Drop Off Winter Coats, Shoes at East Cobb UMC

East Cobb United Methodist Church is assisting two charitable efforts to keep the needy warm this winter.

The church, located at 2325 Roswell Road, is accepting winter coats and jackets and gently-used shoes from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The outerwear will be given to MUST Ministries for distribution, and the shoes to Generations Outreach Ministry, Inc. which is collecting 200,000 pairs of shoes to be given to Atlanta Metro residents this winter.

Also at the church on Saturday, the public is invited a free document-shredding, also from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., courtesy of the American Association of Retired Persons.
