- The Cobb County School District has released the graduation schedule for the Class of 2023. Ceremonies for the county's 16 traditional high schools will be held from May 22 to May 27. East Cobb's six high schools will all have their graduation at the KSU Convocation Center. Click the link to view the graduation schedule. (East Cobb News)
- A Chicago felon led officers on a Christmas Eve car chase in Cobb County. Police released new body camera footage this week showing the driver fleeing from officers at a fast speed during a traffic stop on Atlanta Road. Officers followed the suspect's U-Haul truck — as seen in the video — and eventually trapped the truck by forcing it to crash into their vehicles. (WSBTV)
- On Monday, the Cobb County Public Library will be hosting Movie Monday. This Monday's featured film will be 1992's "The Mighty Ducks," a PG film with a 104-minute runtime. The event will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Jan. 9 at Switzer Library in Marietta. Registration is required. (Cobb County)
