East Cobb High School Orientations Set

Here are the schedules for high school orientation sessions next week at East Cobb high schools: 

Pope High School's "Fall Madness"

Monday, Aug. 5

• 8:30-9:30 a.m., sophomores
• 9:45-10:45 a.m., juniors
• 11:00- 12:00, seniors
• Break for lunch
• Afternoon sessions are just for freshmen
• 1:30-2:30 p.m., freshmen in their new AO with ambassadors/AO teachers for a formal program (schedules, pictures etc)
• 1:30-2:30 p.m., freshmen parent formal meeting in theater (Dr. Downs, Admin team, Counselors and parent group representation with PTSA membership, foundation etc.)
• 2:30-3:30 p.m., freshmen (payments, textbooks and clubs)

• 11th grade last name A-G at 8:00am
• 11th grade last name H-O at 8:45am
• 11th grade last name P-Z at 9:30am
• 12th grade last name A-G at 10:15am
• 12th grade last name H-O at 11:00am
• 12th grade last name P-Z at 11:45am
• 10th grade last name A-G at 1:00pm
• 10th grade last name H-O at 1:45pm
• 10th grade last name P-Z at 2:30pm

Monday, Aug. 5

• 9th grade at 8:30am

• 9th grade students, 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

• 10th-12th grade students, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Please plan to attend an orientation/construction update with Dr. Chiprany and staff at either 6:15 PM or 7:15 PM during Freshman Wildcat Daze and at 1:45 PM on Upperclassmen Daze. The orientations will be held in Cafeteria.

Be sure to retrieve a school map, schedule, and Wildcat information in front of the Lipscomb Gym. The New Building and the existing buildings will be open for everyone to tour and find their classrooms.
