East Cobb Road Work Updates

From the office of District 2 Cobb Commissioner Bob Ott:

Paper Mill Road Bridge at Sope Creek is closed through Oct. 25
The new bridge will include a 6-foot sidewalk on the south side, providing access to the National Park Service trails. A signed detour route will be provided during construction. 

This week, Monday, June 3 through Friday, June 7, the contractor will begin mobilizing equipment, clearing and bridge demolition.

Indian Hills Parkway

• Near Eastside Elementary School -- Monday through Friday: Contractor will begin installing construction signage, erosion control and locating utilities.

Lower Roswell Road Construction

• Davidson Road to Willow Point Pkwy – Monday through Friday: This section of Lower Roswell Road is substantially complete except for final striping.
• Willow Point Pkwy to Timber Ridge Road – Monday through Friday: Expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Willow Point Parkway and Timber Ridge Road with one lane remaining open for your commute. The contractor will be grading, placing concrete and installing water main. Utility relocations should not affect your service. 

Little Willeo Road Sidewalks Construction

• Karls Gate Drive to Lake Fjord Pass – Monday through Friday: Expect intermittent lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with one lane remaining open while the contractor continues placing concrete sidewalk and curb. Utility relocations should not affect your service.
