East Cobb Wine & Vine Market is Wednesday

Proceeds will benefit East Cobb Park and other local charities and community projects.

A midweek wine tasting? How civilized is that?

The East Cobb Lions Club and Friends for the East Cobb Park are having their annual East Cobb Wine & Vine Market Wednesday at the Indian Hills Country Clubhouse.

The event, which starts at 6 p.m., is a fundraiser for East Cobb-area community projects and charities.

The special guests are Cobb Commission Chairman Tim Lee and his predecessor, Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens.

Tickets are $25 and includes the wine tasting and heavy appetizers.
Proceeds from the auction will help support East Cobb Park and Camp Big Heart as well as scholarships and many other community projects for the aged, homeless, handicapped and needy.

The clubhouse is located a 4001 Clubland Drive.
