EAST COBBER Parade and Festival Less Than a Month Away
This year's extravaganza is scheduled for Sept. 21.
East Cobb's annual celebration of itself is just around the corner.
The 18th annual EAST COBBER Parade and Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21, and there's still time to sign up to march down Johnson Ferry Road, renting a booth or performing on stage.
If you've watched or been part of this event before, the routine will be the same again this year.
The parade begins at 10 a.m. from its staging area at Mt. Bethel Elementary School, then heads south down Johnson Ferry Road to the Fountains at Olde Towne Shopping Center, where the festival takes place.
Traffic on Johnson Ferry Road between Roswell Road and Lower Roswell Road will be closed at around 9:45 a.m., and will be reopened around 11:30 a.m.
