UPDATE: Missing Elderly Man Located Safe

Robert Bahr, 86, was located in Lumpkin County.

UPDATE: Cobb County police announced Tuesday morning that Robert Bahr was located at a hospital in Lumpkin County at 6:45 a.m. Bahr’s family is on the way to Lumpkin County to reunite with him.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Cobb County Police Department in conjunction with the G.B.I. (Georgia Bureau of Investigations) is asking for the assistance of the public in helping them to locate an individual missing from the Marietta, Georgia area (last seen at the rear gate to Dobbins Air Force Base on Atlanta Road).

According to investigators, the Cobb County Emergency Communications Center dispatched officers from Precinct 3 to the area of Dobbins Air Force Base in reference to a missing elderly adult male. When officers arrived, they met with the wife of the missing male.

According to the female, her husband, identified as 86-year old Robert Clarence Bahr, suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Bahr was last seen leaving the rear gate of Dobbins Air Force Base in a red 2012 Ford Escape, Georgia tag PDG2845.

Bahr is a white male, 5’10” tall, 170 lbs, brown eyes and grey hair. He was last seen wearing an orange t-shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Robert Clarence Bahr is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency by dialing 9-1-1. The Cobb County Police Department should also be called at (770) 499-3911.
