Deadline To Win $1M In GA Lottery's Newest Game Nearing

ATLANTA, GA — Time is running out for Georgia Lottery players to submit their entries in a second-chance drawing worth $1 million each for three lucky winners.

Georgia Millionaire, which the Georgia Lottery Corporation debuted in October, offers instant $10,000 cash prizes through scratch-offs.

Then, non-winning tickets can be entered into the lottery's second-chance drawing, which will be held as the New Year's Eve ball drops to ring in 2026. At that time, three players will win $1 million each, lottery officials said.

The deadline to submit tickets for the upcoming drawing is 8 a.m. Tuesday. Submissions can be made online, and the winners will be posted on the Georgia Lottery's website, officials said.

Georgia Millionaire tickets are currently being sold at Georgia Lottery retailers statewide, which are listed online.

The first winner of Georgia Millionaire was a 56-year-old Murrayville woman, who secured her prize days after the game was put into play.

“Georgia Millionaire is an exciting new way for our players to win big, and we are thrilled to celebrate the New Year by creating three new millionaires in Georgia,” Georgia Lottery Corp. President and CEO Gretchen Corbin said in an October news release. “Every Georgia Millionaire ticket purchased supports our mission to maximize revenues for Georgia Lottery-funded HOPE and Pre-K, benefiting students and families across our state.”

Recent Lottery Winners

Lottery officials on Monday revealed the following prizes have been won:

• A Macon resident hit the jackpot for $457,808 in the Dec. 24 Fantasy 5 drawing. The ticket was purchased on the Georgia Lottery mobile app and matched all five numbers, which were 01-08-14-22-26.
• A player won $20,000 in the Dec. 26 Mega Millions drawing by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Mega Ball with a ticket purchased at Racetrac, 1200 Jonesboro Road in McDonough and had a built-in 2X multiplier. The next drawing will be Tuesday for $138 million.
• A player hit the jackpot on Dec. 27 for $414,741 playing $50 and $100 Frenzy Quick Win at Chevron Hill Top Food Mart, 280 S. Main Street in Alpharetta.
• A Marietta resident won $10,000 playing Jingle Jackpots on Dec. 25, and a Thomson player won $10,000 playing Disco Pigs Lucky Coins on Dec. 26. Both were playing diggi games on the Georgia Lottery mobile app.
