🌱 Electric Car Chargers Come To East Cobb + Music In The Park

First, today's weather:

Here are the top three stories today in East Cobb:

1. East Cobb now has an assortment of electric vehicle charging stations along Johnson Ferry Road, including one that just opened at the Parkaire Landing Shopping Center. The stations give out a Level 2 charge, allowing vehicles to cover roughly 32 miles per hour of charge. It takes six to eight hours for a Level 2 to fully charge. (East Cobb News)
2. A man was killed by a wrong-way driver near South Fulton Street over the holiday weekend. The driver was being pursued by East Cobb officers and attempted to throw them off by traveling east on the westbound lanes. The driver fled the scene, leaving one man dead and another hospitalized. The investigation is ongoing. (Subscription: Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
3. Fall in East Cobb Park brings music to the community’s ears. This Sunday, families can check out the Dark Star Brothers as they perform in the park as part of the Music in the Park series.
