Lynn Weinberg is once again having the community arts and design event in her home in the Somerset neighborhood.

Lynn Weinberg passes along this notice that it's time once again for Gifts Galore & More

Plans are under way for Gifts Galore & More, an annual community arts and design event created by Lynn Weinberg of LRW DESIGNS, a nationally recognized clothing designer.

Weinberg annually converts her East Cobb home, studio and gardens into a showcase for artists and local businesses.

The site, in the Somerset subdivision, was featured last year by the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Gifts Galore 2013 will be expanded with the addition of a second home, also in Somerset. Avi Moyal will open up his unique residence, showcasing his own paintings, sculptures and furniture as well as the work of several new vendors.

“The public is warmly invited to the 5th annual Gifts Galore & More,” says Weinberg. “As well as an opportunity to shop for distinctive gifts and handmade items, the event is a showcase for artists, local vendors and business owners to come together and share their talents.”

The setting is fun and unique, with artists and vendors in a relaxed indoor/outdoor environment. Participants in this year’s show will include jewelry, garden sculptures, photography, mixed media, ceramics, beauty products, fashion accessories, Tupperware, personalized gifts, a children’s book author, ballroom dance studio and other unique artisans and vendors.

Gifts Galore & More will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, October 1 and 2, at two nearby locations in the Somerset subdivision, 3275 Somerset Trace, and 3231 Turtle Lake Drive.

Hours are Tuesday 11am to 2 pm and 5-8 pm, and Wednesday 10 am to 3 pm.
