Glover Park Concert Series Starts May 31

The Glow Band will continue the 2013 Glover Park Concert Series Friday, May 31 at 8 p.m. in and around the park in downtown Marietta. You can reserve a front-row seat online.

2013 series performers

• May 31: The Glow Band (Variety and Classic Rock)
• June 1: GSO Jazz
• June 28: Atlanta Pleasure Band (R & B)
• July 26: The Grapevine (Beach Music and Oldies)
• Aug. 23: A1A (Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band)
• Sept. 27: Kasper and the 911 Band (Soul and Motown)

Concerts

• Free

• Limited number of tables
• $45 for tables of six
• $55 for tables for eight
• Table reservations: first-come basis, may be reserved first working day of each month

Blankets and lawn chairs

• May be set up in park after 4 p.m.

Personal tables

• Not permitted in park
• May be set up on North Park Square after 5:30 p.m.

Eat dinner and watch the show

• Bring a picnic dinner (beer and wine are permitted)
• Eat in one of the restaurants on square 

Table, blanket-decorating contest

• Held before each concert
• Winner takes home picnic basket full of goodies
• Registration not required
• Sponsored by Coldwell Banker-Marietta West Cobb branch
