The race is filled with Republicans and Democrats testing the popularity of Trump's ideology.

EAST COBB, GA -- The race to represent District 6, which stretches from East Cobb to north DeKalb and north Fulton counties, promises to be a hotly contested match between candidates who espouse President Trump's ideology, the Republican old guard and Democrats looking to stem the area's conservative tide.

Many of the candidates in the district, which has leaned Republican in recent elections, are in the midst of qualifying for the race.
