  1. Hurricane Ian will likely bring rain to Cobb County at the end of the week. The tropical storm is expected to impact Florida by Wednesday and the southeastern United States by Friday. The National Weather Service reports there is about a 50 percent chance of rain in Cobb County Friday and Saturday. (Cobb County Courier)
  2. A Cobb County teen has been arrested for driving over 130 miles per hour in a 55mph zone. The teen was driving an Infiniti while racing another individual near CH James Parkway shortly before 3:00 a.m. It is not clear what happened to the other racer. (WSBTV)
  3. A 38-year-old Hispanic man was struck while crossing Roswell Road on Saturday night. The individual was struck by four vehicles before traffic stopped. The Marietta Police Department has not released the individual's identity, yet. The department is currently investigating the incident. (East Cobb News)
