ICYMI: Marietta Man Person of Interest in DragonCon Sexual Assault

A friend of the victim took a picture of the man, which police hope will help them track him down.

Atlanta police are distributing the photo of a participant at this weekend’s DragonCon festivities after another attendee said she was sexually assaulted by him.

Police told WSB-TV that the victim was intoxicated and ill when she was sexually assaulted by a man wearing an FBI baseball cap and gray shirt between 3 and 5 a.m. Sunday. The victim described her attacker to a friend, who later took a picture of the man. The victim told police the attacker identified himself as “Gary,” and claimed to be from Marietta.

A $2,000 reward is being offered for information that can lead police to this suspect.
