Here are the top three stories today in East Cobb:

  1. There are so many wonderful holidays around this time of year, and a special celebration at Cobb County Public Library includes them all! The library will hold inclusive holiday storytimes, arts and crafts, and music. The storytime will include Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Kwanzaa, and the Chinese New Year. This wonderful inclusive experience is scheduled for Dec. 7. (Cobb County Public Library)
  2. Cobb Schools will be holding a Virtual Learning Day on Tuesday, Dec. 6. The change is due to the U.S. Senate runoff election. There will be no live virtual teaching. Instead, students will be learning at home, independently. The lessons will be taught through the district's Cobb Teaching and Learning System. (Marietta Patch)
  3. Switzer Library will be hosting a delightful "Fox in a Box" exhibit that showcases the Fox Theatre! "Fox in a Box" is an interactive banner exhibit that celebrates the history and cultural impact of the Fox Theatre. Visitors will learn about how this historical location intersected with American history, the Civil Rights Movement, economics, and more. The exhibit will run from Dec. 22 through Jan. 7.
