Lassiter Athletes Sign Scholarships

17 seniors gathered on Wednesday to make their college choices official.

Thanks to Katie Griffin of the Lassiter High School faculty for sending us Wednesday's signing day information of 17 senior college-bound student-athletes:

A total of seventeen Lassiter High School senior student athletes signed national letters of intent with top universities bringing the school’s total to thirty-seven students for the 2013 senior class. The final signing day included top programs Wake Forest, West Point and the University of Connecticut.

“Words really can’t express how proud we are of this year’s senior student athletes. To send 37 students to play college sports is a testament to our students, coaches, teachers, parents and the entire Lassiter community,” commented Lassiter Athletic Director Art O’Neil.
