  1. An East Cobb man has been awarded a $25,000 grant on behalf of MUST Ministries. Mike Hendley, a local financial advisor, is being recognized for his work with the Marietta-based nonprofit dedicated to finding housing and jobs for people experiencing homelessness. The grant funding will go toward services at the MUST Hope House to support operations. (East Cobb News)
  2. Officer M. Justice of the Cobb County Police Department will be at the North Cobb Library tomorrow for a special "Touch-a-Truck" event. All ages are invited to stop by between 3:30-5:30 p.m. to take a close-up look at a real police car. No advanced registration is required. (Cobb County Public Library via Facebook)
  3. The Credit Union of Georgia is hosting a school supply drive now through Jun. 30. Needed supplies include pens, notebooks, and crayons and can be dropped off at the East Cobb branch at 1020 Johnson Ferry Road.
