- A Marietta woman has been charged with insurance fraud and forgery. 35-year-old Merilyn Enow has been charged for allegedly attempting to steal thousands of dollars in insurance payouts between Apr. 5, 2021, and Dec. 1, 2021. On Aug. 23 and 24, officials took out arrest warrants for Enow in Cobb County. As of Aug. 30, it is unknown if she is currently in custody. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
- According to Only In Your State, one of the best burgers can be found right around the corner in Marietta. The Red Eyed Mule, located at 430 South Marietta Parkway SE in Marietta, was listed as number three on the list of five "Best Burgers In The South" for its six-ounce Black Angus ground chuck burger and its black bean burger. - Don't miss the next Electric Avenue Concert on Friday, Sep. 2! Now through October, local artists will be performing every Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Avenue East Cobb, located at 4475 Roswell Road.
