Man Pulled from Chattahoochee Marks 4th Drowning of Weekend
Cobb police say Stone Mountain man drowned in a swimming accident near the Sandy Point National Recreation Area near Akers Drive.
A Cobb County dive team recovered the body of a Stone Mountain man from the Chattahoochee River on Sunday bringing to four the number of people who drowned that day in the river and Lake Lanier.
A father and son from Lilburn were among the three males who drowned in the popular lake Sunday afternoon.
Cobb police say twenty-two-year-old Ibrahim Sanusi drowned in a swimming accident near the Sandy Point National Recreation Area near Akers Drive.
