Man Shoots at Marietta Business Owner: Police
The business owner was about to enter his store Thursday morning when he decided to run away from the suspicious man.

Marietta police are looking for the man who shot at a business owner who was running away from him on Thursday morning.
The owner had just arrived at his check cashing business in the 1100 block of Franklin Road around 10 a.m. when he noticed a black male in dark clothing approach him, police spokeswoman Brittany Wallace tells Patch. As the owner unlocked the door and prepared to step inside, he became frightened of the man and backed away from the business.
At this time, police say, the man pulled out a gun and gave chase to the fleeing business owner. Wallace says the man fired one shot at his target but missed. The business owner was able to make it to safety and call 911, and the man fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
