I-75 All Clear After Crash In Cobb (Updated)

Accident at I-75 and I-575 snarled rush-hour traffic Wednesday evening.

EAST COBB, GA -- Traffic flowed freely again Wednesday night after a multiple-vehicle crash blocked northbound lanes on Interstate 75 at Interstate 575, transit officials said.

The accident severely slowed traffic and caused a fuel spill, according to Georgia Department of Transportation.

Marietta police issued a traffic advisory earlier in the afternoon warning drivers to avoid I-75 northbound at I-575 due to a traffic accident. The corridor should be avoided "for the next three hours," police said.
