UPDATE: Marietta I-75 Ramp Work Postponed

GDOT crews will close the right lane of the I-75 south onramp and offramp on Wednesday nigh to help make the shift seamless.

The Georgia Department of Transportation will be shifting traffic from the existing ramps at North Marietta Parkway onto new I-75 Southbound entrance and exit ramps Wednesday night and into Thursday morning.

GDOT had originally planned to complete the work late Tuesday and early Wednesday, but rescheduled the project just before 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The new ramps will be in closer alignment to the mainline of I-75 Southbound, and night time single right lane closures on both existing ramps will be required to install these shifts, GDOT says. The work will run from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday.
