North Georgia State Fair Kicks Off Thursday In Marietta

MARIETTA, GA -- The Superior Plumbing North Georgia State Fair kicks off Thursday, Sept. 21 in Cobb County, Patch has learned. The event, which features live music, food galore, free attractions and shows, farm animals, flower shows, blue ribbon competitions and more, runs through Oct. 1.

The price is $7 for adults while kids 10 and down are free. Parking is $5 per vehicle. Advance admission tickets can be purchased for $3.50, with children 10 and under free. A book of 21 ride tickets can be purchased for only $11, 50 percent off, the county said.
