Office Cats Looking to Work from Home

A local shelter's adoption campaign aims to get eligible candidates "hired."

[Marietta, GA] — Good Mews Animal Foundation, a non-profit cat rescue and a 2022 Best of Cobb adoption organization, takes a creative angle in hopes of getting more cats adopted with their adoption campaign, "Office Cats Looking to Work from Home," in celebration of Adopt A Shelter Cat month in June.

The month-long campaign aims to find loving homes for cats by presenting them as talented candidates ready to join families in the comfort of their own homes. Good Mews recognizes the growing demand for feline companionship and the positive impact cats can have on remote work environments.

As part of the campaign, Good Mews is offering a limited-time SIGN ON BONUS with 50% off adoption fees. This enticing incentive encourages potential adopters to consider welcoming a feline coworker into their lives.

To facilitate the adoption process, Good Mews will be hosting OPEN JOB FAIRS every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend these adoption days to meet and interview a wide range of eligible candidates who are "open to work."

For added convenience, Good Mews has developed a comprehensive live database of all candidates for hire, accessible at www.goodmews.org/CATalog. Prospective adopters can search through the database to find the purrfect addition to their families.
