Police Seek East Cobb Armed Robbery Suspect

Cobb County police are looking for the man who robbed an East Cobb Citgo at gunpoint Monday morning.

Police say that at 10:16 a.m., a man approached an employee walking to his car parked at the gas station at 2020 Lower Roswell Road, brandished a weapon, and robbed the victim and stole his car. Police recovered the victim’s car a short distance away; the robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber is a black male, 5’08” tall, thought to be between 35-40 years of age, police say. He was described as having a medium build and was last seen wearing dark green pants, a green sweatshirt and a black “skull cap”. He was armed with a handgun.
