Pope High School Social Worker Recognized
The social worker has led the school's Interact Club for a decade.

A social worker at Pope High School has been honored by the Marietta Rotary Club for her decade of service to the local community and the world at large through her stewardship of the school’s Interact Club.
Pam Kretzmer has transformed Pope’s Interact Club into a powerhouse for good that boasts a membership of almost 300 students, the Cobb County School DIstrict says.
Interact Clubs across the country are responsible for undertaking two public service projects a year; one project must serve the club’s local community, while the second project aims to make a global impact.

Under Kretzmer’s leadership, Pope Interact has brought home award after award and has made a substantial contribution to bettering East Cobb.
