  1. On Tuesday, the Johnson Ferry Baptist Church opened a new coffee shop and eatery to the public. The new shop, called Provision Cafe, is an expanded version of a cafe that opened up two years ago primarily for church members and is aimed at inviting the larger East Cobb community to enjoy coffee, food, and informal gatherings with friends and family. The cafe is open on Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (East Cobb News)
  2. Are you looking for gifts to give kids and teens this holiday season? If so, Access Atlanta has created a list of local small businesses in the metro Atlanta area with great gift options. Included on the list is Abbadabba’s, which has an East Cobb location at 1255 Johnson Ferry Rd. They carry some of the coolest shoe brands for all ages and give back to the community through various local (and global) programs. (Access Atlanta)
  3. Druski will be coming to Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre next year as part of his first-ever headlining comedy tour. The comedian, actor, and entrepreneur's tour titled Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda will stop in Cobb County on May 20, 2023. Tickets for the show will go on sale on Dec. 9 at 10:00 a.m. Presale begins today (Dec. 7) at 10:00 a.m. and can be purchased here with password 4LIFERS. (MDJOnline)
