Recycle Your Christmas Tree At These Cobb Locations

MARIETTA, GA -- Help the environment by recycling your holiday tree on Saturday, Jan. 5. Bring One for the Chipper is an annual Christmas tree recycling program. As a Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation affiliate, Keep Cobb Beautiful staff works with sponsors to organize the recycling event in Cobb.
Since its inception, the program has recycled an estimated 5.9 million Christmas trees statewide. Mulch from these trees has been used for playgrounds, local government beautification projects and individual yards.
Live undecorated and unflocked Christmas trees will be accepted Saturday, Jan. 5 only from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following Home Depot and PARKS locations in Cobb:

Event sponsors include Home Depot, Davey Tree Expert Company, TAG Grinding Services Inc. and Cobb County PARKS.
