SCANA, Atlanta Falcons Host Cobb County After-School Celebration
The SCANA Energy Homework Center at Dowell Elementary serves 30 fourth and fifth grade students.
MARIETTA, GA -- SCANA Energy recently held an an end-of-year celebration at its after-school homework center serving Title I fourth and fifth grade students at Dowell Elementary School with a special appearance by an Atlanta Falcons player, mascot and cheerleaders. The event was held Thursday, March 21, at the school on 2121 West Sandtown Road.
The SCANA Energy Homework Center at Dowell Elementary serves 30 fourth and fifth grade students and operates from 2:45 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. SCANA Energy provides funds for the teachers, an assistant, snacks, and student incentives.
Special guests included Atlanta Falcons linebacker Bruce Carter, Falcons cheerleaders, Freddie Falcon, and Kids & Pros.
