Second Suspect in East Cobb Robbery Arrested
Levar Christian Rhea was arrested Saturday at the Westminster Square apartment on Windy Hill Road.

The second suspect who allegedly used an electronic stun device to incapacitate a man he lured to an East Cobb apartment complex under the guise of a cash vehicle purchase has been arrested.
Levar Christian Rhea was arrested Saturday at the Westminster Square apartment on Windy Hill Road, weeks after the March 15 incident at the Grand Villas Apartments in East Cobb.
According to a Cobb County criminal warrant, a man went to Grand Villas at 6:30 p.m. March 15 after receiving a call about a vehicle. At the apartment complex, the man was met by Casen Erwin of Marietta. Once they worked out a purchase deal, the man accompanied Erwin to the breezeway of the apartment building in order to obtain the vehicle ownership papers.

That's when, according to the warrant, Rhea approached the man from behind with an electronic stun device. Erwin allegedly pointed a handgun at the man and demanded his valuables. Both suspects allegedly took $1,100 cash and a Samsung cellular telephone before fleeing the scene.
Investigators learned the identity of Erwin from the telephone number used to contact the victim. And the victim later identified him in a photographic lineup as the person with the handgun.

Erwin was also arrested Saturday at Westminster Square. He and Rhea are in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond. Erwin is being held on charges of armed battery, simple battery and aggravated assault. Rhea is in custody on charges of armed robbery and battery.
The victim had "visible redness and swelling in addition to two small burn marks on the victim's skin due to the electrically charged probes being applied to his neck area," records show.
