State Soccer Playoffs Continue Tuesday

The Walton girls and Pope boys soccer teams will be playing at home this week when the Georgia High School Association state tournaments swing back into action with second-round games.

The Lady Raiders will be playing host to South Forsyth Tuesday in the Class 6A tournament, while the Lassiter girls are playing at North Gwinnett.

In Class 5A, the Pope girls will play at Flowery Branch, also on Tuesday.

The boys soccer tournament resumes on Wednesday. Notably missing are the Lassiter Trojans, who were ranked No. 1 in Class 6A but were upset by South Gwinnett. The Walton boys also were eliminated in the first round.

The Pope boys will be playing host to Gainesville in a Class 5A second-round game on Wednesday.

In Class 1A, The Walker School boys will be playing at Holy Innocents' on Wednesday.
