Taste of East Cobb is Saturday
More restaurants have been added to the food festival at the Fountains at Olde Towne Shopping Center.

We wrote recently about some of the restaurants that will have samples available at the Taste of East Cobb Saturday at the Fountains at Olde Towne (11 a.m. to 5 p.m, rain or shine).
Lorna Chastain, the festival's publicity coordinator, told us Wednesday that some more restaurants have been added to the list:
- Baked
- Bamboo China Bistro
- Brazilian BBQ
- Kouzina Christos
- Chick-Fil-A
- Moe's Southwest Grill
- Cold Stone Creamery
- ... Cookies by Design
- Keegan's Irish Pub
- Marlow's
- Red Sky Tapas Bar
- Edible Arrangements
- Mediterranean Grill
- Ferdy's Ice
Already announced are Chicago's, D'Lites, Sterling Estates, Whole Foods, El Porton (of Roswell), Gigi's Cupcakes, Jersey Mike's, Mellow Mushroom, The Pavillion and Avenue Catering and Seed.

The tastes are from $1 to $5, and the proceeds benefit the Walton High School band program.
Like last year, the event features local high school jazz bands, a Kid’s Zone and a silent auction, among other activities.

Taste of East Cobb once again is teaming up with MUST Ministries for "Cans for Taste." Visitors will receive free $1 tickets for every five cans of food they bring to help the Marietta agency feed the needy. See the attached flyer for details.
