'Top of the Tap' Contest Continues

Suburban Tap & Grille is running a contest showcasing local singers and songwriters.

Weekly cash prizes, social media recognition and the possibility of landing a paying performing gig at Suburban Tap & Grille are at stake as the East Cobb restaurant continues its "Top of the Tap" contest for local singers and songwriters.

Each Tuesday at 9 p.m., performers will play -- original songs are preferred over covers -- with the audience and other artists casting votes.

At the end of the competition, two performers will be chosen for a finale event, with the winner booked to be a paid Suburban Tap performer.
