Work on East Cobb Pipeline to Slow Traffic This Weekend
Road work to be done Friday through Tuesday, newspaper reports.
EAST COBB, GA -- Hold your horses if you're in a hurry around a particular intersection in East Cobb for the next several days.
The Indian Hills Parkway at Lower Roswell Road is undergoing work and it's going to impact traffic, the Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority.
Work crews are in the midst of laying 18,000 feet of a 54-inch pipeline, the county says. While road work will continues, the agency aims to always keep two lanes of traffic flowing.

Look for traffic to be affected from Friday night through 5 a.m. Tuesday, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The good news is, the project's past the midway point.

"By mid-February of 2017, one crew plans to complete pipeline construction and temporary paving between Paper Mill Road and Old Canton Road along Terrell Mill Road," the agency says on its website.
