• Police: 15-year-old charged after 17-year-old fast-food worker killed (fox5atlanta.com) — Elberton residents are reeling after a 17-year-old McDonald’s employee was fatally shot inside the Elbert Street restaurant Tuesday night, and a 15-year-old has now surrendered to police to face a murder charge. Investigators say the teens knew each other and urge anyone with information to contact the GBI or Elberton Police as the homicide investigation continues.
