• Obituary for James Smith Jr. (1947-2025) (knoxky.com) — Family and friends in Euharlee are among those mourning James Smith Jr., whose daughter and her family live locally. The longtime Kentucky resident, church member, and union steelworker passed away December 4 at age 78, leaving a large, close-knit family and many friends. Services and burial will be held in Barbourville, Kentucky, with memorial donations requested to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
