Accused Bank Robber Being Sought By Gwinnett Police

Police said Friday the woman robbed a Lilburn and a Duluth bank one day apart.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Gwinnett County detectives are searching for a woman they say robbed two banks one day apart.

According to Gwinnett Police Friday, Janae Samantha Fareaux, 22, is accused of robbing the Wells Fargo Bank on Dec. 14 in the 1000 block of Killian Hill Road in Lilburn and the Truist Bank on Dec. 15 in the 2100 block of Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth.

Police said Fareaux demanded to go to the vault but left without getting any money at Wells Fargo. At Truist, Fareaux is accused of passing the teller a note and leaving with more than $2,000 from the bank, police said.

Police described Fareaux as wearing a long black wig, a gray T-shirt over a long-sleeve black shirt, black pants, black shoes and green socks. Police said she could possibly be driving a red or maroon 2019-2020 Hyundai Elantra.
