It's Summertime! What's Going On at Gwinnett County Parks?

The summer is here, and that means more time spent outside.

And, Gwinnett Parks and Recreation has many activities for everyone to share in the fun.

What: Aquatic Safety Week
When: July 1-July 6
Cost: Daily admission applies
More Details: Each of the county's aquatic centers will feature a different safety topic each day during the swim safety event. Topics include sun safety, pool safety, pool rules, and more. Click here for additional details, or call your local park.

What: Brown Bag Concert
When: 11 a.m.- 1 p.m., Friday, July 5
Cost: Free
More Details: Havana Son will perform. Attendees may bring their own lunch, or grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants on the square. There also will be craft activities for children and vendors.

What: Family Pizza and Bingo Night
When: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Saturday, July 13
Cost: $5 in advance, $6 a person at the door

What: Indoor Yard Sale
