Woman, Teen Brother Found Dead On I-85 In Gwinnett
Police said a woman and her brother were shot to death, and their bodies were found in the grass on the I-85 shoulder near I-985.

GWINNETT, GA — A passerby found a teen and a woman dead Sunday evening on the shoulder of Interstate 85 at the Interstate 985 split, Gwinnett County Police said Thursday.
Officers responded around 7:30 p.m. to an unknown medical call. Police said the two people were found in the grass near the interstate, but there were no vehicles near them.
The area where they were found is between Buford and Suwanee though police told Patch the area is closer to Suwanee.

Police said their deaths have been ruled a double homicide. The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner's Office determined they died from gunshot wounds, police said.
The woman was identified as Maria Rosaria Montes Dorantes, 23, and the teen was identified as her brother, Juan Angel Montes, 16, of Griffin, police said. It is unknown where Dorantes lived.
