• Georgia Supreme Court reverses ruling on officers' murder charge in man's death while in custody (atlantanewsfirst.com) — Hampton residents should know that three Hampton police officers are again facing a felony murder charge after Georgia’s Supreme Court reinstated part of the indictment in a 2019 in-custody death case. The justices unanimously reversed a lower court ruling that had thrown out a felony murder count tied to alleged violation of oath by public officer, sending the case back for further proceedings.
