Death Notice: Effie Nelson

Effie Biddy Nelson, 89, of Woodstock, died Sept. 20.

Funeral services will be Sept. 23 at Internment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sept. 22 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Nelson was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include Gary Nelson of Powder Springs; sisters and brother-in-law Lillian Vera (Charlie) Spears of Acworth and Mary Bell of Woodstock; great-nephew Cody Newman.
