James 'Jim' Kelly Rickards, 71, of Canton, died Sept. 18. 

Rickards served in the Army and owned and operated J.K. Rickards Company.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Sept. 23 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel. Internment will follow at the

There is no public visitation. 

Survivors include children Bradley (Samantha) Rickards of Canton; Jacqueline Andrews of Charleston, SC, Danielle (Scott) Stephens of Acworth; sister Linda Gunther of Phoenix, AZ; brother Patrick Rickards of Webster, MN; grandchildren Michael, Stephen and Andrew Reamer; Lydia, Sophia and Chase Stephens; Kately, Eily,  Pfifer, Paris and Remington Rickards.
